Hey girls, I was on WeHeartit.com looking at winter nail art and thought I would share with you my top 6.
I know some of them are a bit Christmassy but that's just because it is what people automatically associate with winter.
So what do you guys think? I personally love them and, if I had the patience and a steady hand, would love to try them, especially the hot chocolate one.
Talk to you all soon :)

My favourite Bible verse of the moment
I just decided that I want to post a bible verse everyday. I have 3 apps on my phone: Daily Words of Jesus, Uplifting Psalms, and Prayers and Blessings, which I was thinking of using to upload everyday. If I do, which app would you like to see them from? Do you want just one? Or for me to do them all, either alternating or all everyday? Let me know in the comments below.
I came up with this because I wanted to share with you my favourite bible verse of the moment then, you know me, an possibly great idea came into my head :)
Anyway here is my bible verse

Rainy day outfit
Hey girls, so because I didn't blog yesterday (naughty me) I thought I would do a few today to make up for it. The first one is this rainy day outfit, inspired by the weather today. This is the type of outfit I would wear if I was going out today. The cardigan is optional depending on how cold it is.

Religion Vs Jesus
I don't know how many of you believe in God, but I do. I was on Youtube watching a video about nail art, and on of the recommended videos was the one below. So, naturally, I clicked it and watched it. All I can say is that he is right.
Different religions cause so many problems, and I can understand why people are against it. Some people believe that religion isn't necessary, that it shouldn't exist. But when they say that, they mean that people should stop believing; people should stop having faith. I disagree, everyone should have faith. To me, living without faith is unbearable, you have nothing to keep you going.
I only started to have faith in Jesus almost a year ago, but even before that I had faith in something. I don't understand why people are so closed minded that they can't believe in something that they can't see. A quote from my favourite Christmas movie fits perfectly here: "Seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing" Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, and yet that is a rather large reason why people do not know Jesus, because they have never actually seen him.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the video, and please leave me your thoughts in the comments below, I really do love reading them.
God Bless, and DFTBA

The Fault in Our Stars review
So I feel like a very bad blogger right now because I haven't been writing everyday like I said I would. You guys need to tell me when I miss a day. But to make up for it I am doing a review on John Green's new book, The Fault in Our Stars!
I'm going to try and not give away any spoilers but if I do it will be in the title.
Okay so first off, it is amazing and you should all read it! Just thought that I would get that out if the way first.
I adore the way that John writes, everything that I have read from him has been beautiful, insightful and endearing. They make you laugh, cry and fall in love; I have literally fallen in love with all of his main protagonists: Hazel Grace, Colin, Quentin, and Miles. You can't help but fall in love with them as he writes in such a way that you feel part of the story.
The Fault in Our Stars is no different, you fall in love with not only Hazel Grace but Augustus too. You follow both of their lives from when they first meet, and get to see their relationship grow. You see how both of their illnesses doesn't change their feelings for one another, even when they worsen.
I feel like you get an insight into what it must be like to live with cancer, to know that you might not live to be an adult, and it is heartbreaking. Reading it, I found, makes you think about what you take for granted, things like breathing, and you realize that your life could be worse.
What I found the most inspiring is how each character went on living as best as they could, not letting the cancer get to them. They couldn't live a completely normal life but they did their best, and I found that amazing. Yet it didn't make out that they were brave and heroic, it portrayed them as real, which I think is what I loved the most.
The novel was written in first person, from Hazel's perspective, and the fact that John could write so amazingly well, from a 16 year old girls perspective really shows just how great of a writer he is. I mean how many people can write from a perspective of the opposite sex? Never mind a teenager of the opposite sex!
I can't find any faults in this novel and I recommend it to everybody. Although I will warn you that you will cry, especially if you are emotional like me.
Have any of you got it yet? If you have and you have read it, let me know in the comments below what you thought of it. Sorry that this isn't the best review but I really didn't want to give any spoilers. If any of you have read it then we can discuss it in more detail.
Hopefully I will be back to my schedule of writting everyday tomorrow.

Hey girls, so I used Polyvore for the first time because I wanted to show you this outfit, which I would totally wear if I could afford to go shopping right now.

Look What I got today!
I am so excited because I got something in the mail that I have been waiting for for months! It is the 'The Fault in Our Stars' novel by John Green! Unfortunatly there have been problems shipping the signed copies so I don't have one of those right now, but it is getting fixed and when I get that I will show you all. Anyway here is the picture of the beautiful book
I tried a few times to rotate it but it wouldn't work and I'm not sure why.
I am so excited to read this and I think I'm going to start tonight after writing this post.
I was at Tesco earlier and picked up a few things, mostly for school but I did get 2 things that I want to share with you guys.
The first was the Harry Potter calender. This was the calender I wanted but we couldn't find it in stock, so I got my usual John Barrowman calender (although I was getting it anyway) so I was excited when I saw this. It was only £3 which is a bargain.
The second thing I got is actually a Tesco bag for life. But it has Harry Potter on it so I clearly had to have it. My friend has one and I wanted one as soon as I saw it so I got it and I am so happy.
So that is my nerdy post over with for today and now I am just gonna get ready for bed and curl up with 'The Fault in Our Stars' Talk to you all tomorrow

Dancing on Ice *SPOILERS*
So I'm sitting here eating a tomato sandwich (Elle Fowlers recipe) watching Dancing on Ice and thought I would write today's post :)
I love love love Dancing on Ice and am already in love with this years contestants. So far Jorgie has been my favourite then the skier (I can't remember her name but I'll learn as the series continues) Andy was quite good too, they're all pretty good skaters, and are doing so well, especially for the first show.
So far Mark has been the worst, yet I still love him, I really want him to go far, even though he can't skate; although that may only be because I love Frankie.
Frankie and Maria are definitely 2 of my favourite female processionals. They are both so beautiful and their skating is amazing! Love them so much.
I do have a couple of negatives to say though. I don't like Christine Bleakly; I feel that she is trying to be like Holly Willoughby but is failing. I also feel that she doesn't gel with Phil, they just don't have the chemistry that he and Holly had, and I kind of miss it. I guess I could always just watch them together on This Morning online if I want to watch them together.
Andy from Coronation Street isn't doing as badly as I thought, his faces were quite funny and some of the moves weren't done smoothly but I still liked him.
Anyway back onto my negatives, I'm not entirely sure about the judging panel. I love Robin Cousins, of course I do, he has been on it since the beginning and I think that he is amazing. I like Katarina Witt, she's nice without being too nice and it helps that she is a gold medallist in this so she really knows what she is talking about. The one I have a problem with is Louie, nothing against him and I get that he is on it because he knows about dance but I can't understand him. I feel so horrible saying that because it isn't his fault, he has a lisp, a medical condition, but I think it is important to be able to understand him. That isn't the only thing I have a problem with, I feel like he is trying to be the mean judge like Jason Gardener was, with so many mean comments. I was just like 'please stop being so mean with your comments, it is the first week' Saying that though, I do think he is a good judge and the panel does gel together, they seem to be a good blend and I look forward to see more of them.
Oh and the skier's name is Chemmy. That is such a unique name, and I actually really like it.
Yay Andy is in, I thought he would be the one to go. YES! Jorgie is through! And Chemmy! I was actually feeling nervous for them. Oh my Gosh Andy A and Heidi are in the bottom 2! I'm gonna be honest I want Hedi to go because I really liked Andy. Oh no Andy went *sad face* I really did love him, and wanted him to stay. I'm actually quite sad that they've gone. I think I'm gonna miss Maria a lot as well.
Oh well, looking forward to seeing the next 8 skaters next week. Although I have heard that Jennifer Ellis might not be able to do it because Dan has been seriously injured which is sad because I like both of them.
Right well I had better go this has been a very long post, and I don't want it to get any longer so I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Study Series is back! :D
Hey all you lovely people, how are we all?
I'm really excited for this post because it is my study series again! I love doing these even if they might not be much help; I just think they are fun to do.
This weeks one is 'How to stay motivated' I decided to do this one because I studied pretty much all afternoon, with an accidental extra long break,(the time just went by too quickly) and thought it would be fun to do because I know how hard it can be to study for so long.
1. Definitely take breaks! You can't expect your brain to be able to concentrate for 3 or more hours straight, heck sometimes I can't even get my brain to concentrate for 1 hour. What I do is study 1 subject and take a quick 5 minute break, go the bathroom, (I'll get onto the reason for that in a sec) get some brain food, just move, get away from your desk or where ever you're studying.
2. Keep water by you. Water is so good for you and it also helps you stay alert meaning you can concentrate for longer. I usually drink some when my mind is starting to lag, and this can happen quite a bit because I am always so tired. I end up drinking close to an entire bottle whilst studying one subject, hence the bathroom trip.
3. Have something motivation in front of you or near you. I have a wall of motivation, which is full of quotes, a poem, a picture and a four points card. When I really feel like I can't concentrate any longer I look at it and find a quote and I am instantly motivated. I also have this picture:
as my wallpaper on my computer. I always find that seeing some else study makes me want to as well, so that always works too.
4. Have something on in the background that is on for the length of time you want to study that subject for. I suggest a podcast, but one that is on for not much more than an hour or less. I know some may find this distracting, which is why I strongly recommend a movie or TV show in the background, but I find that it helps me keep working; my mind is going "I'll just sit here doing something as I listen to this podcast" I don't know about you but I always feel bored if I am just sitting listening to a podcast or music, I have to be doing something and studying is a great thing to do.
5. If you are really starting to feel sluggish, during your break go and grab brain food like a banana, and if you really need it a coffee. They will give you a boost and help you to study for that extra hour.
6. I'm only doing one more and it isn't exactly motivational but is essential for studying, I just don't like odd number much. Wear something comfortable. There is nothing worse than sitting hunched over a desk in something that is tight, itchy, or just plain uncomfortable. I suggest wearing something like sweat pants or leggings, with a plain top with no ruffles, sparkles or anything that will get in the way when writing.
Well that is it, I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any tips please leave them in the comments below, I would love to read them.
Right now I am going to go and get ready for bed, I want an early night.

School, Routines and Organisation
I went back to school today which sucks, I mean it's not that I hate school, I just don't particularly like my school. I don't really want to be mean about my school but I do often think that if I went to another school I'd feel a little bit better about going, because I do like studying; I just feel that I don't get the study vibe there, if you know what I mean.
Apart from studying though I like going back because I get a routine again. I love routine, actually I think I am one of those people that need a routine to live! I find that it is hard to get a routine whilst on a break from school because you know you have to change back soon.
I know that now I am back at school I'm going to get a home routine too, you know after school. Meaning that I'm going to stick even closer to my resolutions, which is obviously great. Is it weird that I've already envisioned how it is going to work? I want to make a timetable for it, which is probably even worse, but I just love having a routine so much! I don't know how people can live without one. I sound like a crazy person don't I? But I just feel that without a routine I don't know what I'm doing and I feel so un-organised.
Ooh speaking or organised I was reading pearsblogs today and she has done a school organise post and you know what? I am totally taking some of her ideas. I thought I was really organised until I read her post, let me tell you I am not! But I think I will get so much better at it if I take some of her tips and change up some of mine a little bit.
I really want to organise right now! I need to revise but I just want to organise everything! Mostly my school stuff and my desk. It is a bit ridiculous how much I re-organise this desk. I feel like I am constantly re-organising it, moving things around, putting things back. It is a little bit out of control. I'll do it on Sunday though (another routine type thing of mine) I always clean my room on a Sunday after work.
Oh before I forget, there most likely won't be a post tomorrow, because I'm at my friends. You know I might just take Friday's off because I go there every Friday and don't get back until really late and have to be up early on Saturdays so don't feel like I really have time to blog on a Friday.
I really should go and revise, I have a mock test tomorrow morning for an exam I have next Friday, so I'll talk to you all Saturday.

So I guess I have new hair?
Hey everyone.
I got my hair done today and thought I would share it with you guys, because ya' know I'm awesome like that. I'm also very nice xD
So here are the (not so great) before pictures:
Unfortunatly you can't see the length but it was all the way down my back and basically it was just flat and long and dead.
So I decided to get this:
Excuse the no make-up and the bad quality but I took my make-up off to workout then realized that the pictures weren't showing any difference in my hair between the pictures and my camera had died.
Anyway as you can see I got quite a bit taken off and it is definitely going to take some getting used to. I also got a sweeping fringe (not so sweeping in the bottom picture) and some long layers.
I do like it, although it is a bit of a shock at how short it is. I think next time I get my hair cut I'm gonna get short layers.
Oh I also coloured my hair but that was done before I took the before pictures. I didn't change the colour just went over it because it had faded so much.
Right I am going to go and run a bath. Want to relax tonight because I go back to school tomorrow and I think a bath would be the perfect way.

You know the one "Do something that scares me once a month" well I am speaking at my churches Girls Night In, and that terrifies me. I know I was nominated to do it because, apparently, when I have a soothing voice and when I read from the bible everybody loves it. I don't particularly like to speak in front of people, so I am so freakin' scared but I'll do it. Not sure what I am going to do to make sure I go through with it but I'll do it. I'll let you all know if I did it, how I did it, and how I did in my update for my New Years Resolutions post next month. Besides the Girls Night In isn't until 27th January so it won't be long after that, that you will all get to know.
I'm really excited for the Girls Night In. I've never been to one before and the first one I go to I am one of the leaders, so I can't wait.
I don't really know what to talk about today. For the past month it didn't matter that I didn't have a subject because I had a title, but now I need a subject for a title.
Ooh I know leave me a comment below telling me what my pointless posts should be titled! I really have no idea what to call them, when I'm unmotivated to do anything I can't be creative, so you guys do it for me ha-ha. For now this post will just be untitled.
I was on WeHeartIt earlier and I searched organised, and you know what, it made me want to re-organise my room. Again! I love organising so much, I re-organise my desk constantly so that everything is perfect and un-cluttered. I might to an entire series on organising, you know with before and after pictures of parts of my room and how I organised it. I think that would be such a fun idea, after all this blog isn't about anything in particular, it is basically all of my obsessions in one place. Would you guys like that series? I guess it would kind of be like my study series, which I will be re-starting hopefully on Saturday.
I'm also thinking of taking a picture of my outfit everyday and incorporating them into my posts, but I'm not sure. Or maybe not everyday, just when I'm wearing something I really like. What do you guys think?
Leave me your ideas in the comments below, I love reading your feedback :)
Right I'm gonna go and get ready for bed; even though it is only 9.07pm I want to get back into a routine for going back to school on Thursday.
Talk to you all tomorrow,

Nails of the week
Hey everyone, so I just want to start by saying thank you all so much for the lovely comments I received on yesterdays post. They truly made me smile and you are all wonderful people.
I also got a comment on my Blogmas day #31 post saying to post everyday for a year and I actually think this is a great idea! Not sure if I will be able to stick to it every single day but I'll definitely give it a try.
Onto the main part of this post. I painted my nails today, as I do every week (although normally on a Saturday or Sunday) and thought I would share it with you all. This will probably become a weekly feature on my blog too.
Just to add, I'm not to sure about the lighting, I'm playing around with it right now so should be sorted soon.
I decided I wanted a dark colour but still have some sparkle so chose Dark Chocolate from Avon. I absolutely adore this colour and think it is perfect for autumn and winter. I also think it is great, not only for girly girls, because of the shimmer, but also for those girls who aren't as girly but still love painting their nails because it is such a dark colour.
I love how this looks with my skin tone. I am really pale and I feel like this colour compliments it so well.
Have you guys painted your nails recently? Leave me a picture below and I will talk to you all tomorrow

Happy New Year and my New Years Resolutions
I was looking for the bottom picture but found a few others I liked as well so thought I would share them all with you. I especially love the Harry Potter one!
Happy new year beautiful. I truly hope that 2012 is an amazing year for you all and that all your dreams an wishes come true.
Today I am finally going to tell you all my new years resolutions but before I do that, I want to thank everyone for reading my blog. It means the world to me to know that people care enough to read. Every time I get a view, follower or comment it brightens up my day and I just want to thank you all for that. I've only started this blog 2 months ago and I already have 7 followers and I love you all. How about 20 by 2013?
Now onto my new years resolutions. I have a few so lets get started.
- Follow my skin care routine day and night. So I can be lazy and go to bed without getting washed and that is so bad for your skin, especially since I have acne prone skin, so I just want to make sure I do this every night.
- Brush my teeth every day and night. This is the same as the first. I'm just lazy and sleep without brushing my teeth. I don't know why I have to put day because I never leave the bathroom, in the morning, without having first got washed. But yeah, I just need to stop being so lazy.
- Take my vitamins everyday. I usually forget to take them, and because I am a vegetarian it is even more important that I take all of my vitamins everyday so I'm not losing anything.
- Eat cleaner/healthier. I really can't wait to start this one tomorrow because I have been eating so much junk food lately and I know it is affecting my health and weight and I can't wait to be healthy
- Exercise at least 3 times a week. So I haven't put everyday because I do have school to think about which can stop me getting a workout but I feel that so long as I do at least 30 minutes 3 times a week, that is sufficient enough to help me lose weight and be fitter.
- Work harder at school and work, so I can get into university. I can lack motivation to study and get lonely at work both of which stop me doing my best, but I plan on stopping that this year. Plus I really want to go to university.
- Read 6 books by the summer holidays. This may not seem like a lot but, like I've said before, school can stop me from doing anything else, so I feel that 6 is a reasonable number.
- Appreciate all that I have more often. I know that I talked about this in one of my Blogmas posts so I decided to make it a new years resolutions.
- Do something that scares me at least once a month. I read about this somewhere (which I can't find now) and thought it would be a great idea. The article actually said to do it everyday but I thought once a month was sufficient enough
- Learn to play the ukulele. I got one for Christmas and would love to learn how to play it.
So that's it. I might do an update once a month to let you guys know how I'm doing, but only if you want that.
What are your New Years Resolutions? I would love to know so leave them in the comments below.
Have a great year guys and I will talk to you all very soon
