Hello girls, I hope you are all doing well. Happy April to you all. This year is going so fast. A little bit too fast for my liking, as I only have 1 month and 15 days until my first exam, which is a little bit scary.
Anyway, here are my New Years Resolutions updates, I hope you enjoy. And as always, leave me a comment letting me know how all of you are getting on.
- Follow my skin care routine day and night.
- Brush my teeth every day and night.
- Take my vitamins everyday.
- Eat cleaner/healthier.
- Exercise at least 3 times a week.
- Work harder at school and work, so I can get into university.
- Read 6 books by the summer holidays.
- Appreciate all that I have more often.
- Do something that scares me at least once a month.
- Learn to play the ukulele.
- Follow my skin care routine day and night: I have been doing this pretty much every single night. Occasionally I will miss a night, mostly because it is really late, I'm stressed and just want sleep. Sometimes I skip the water and face wash and just use a face wipe/baby wipe, then do the rest of my routine at night, but I try not to do this very often. I did a post on my skin care routine if you want to see it.
- Brush my teeth every day and night: Again, pretty much every single night. Missing nights for the same reason as my face.
- Take my vitamins everyday: This is the only resolution I have never broken and I am so proud of myself for this.
- Eat cleaner/healthier: This one has been up and down all month, some days I do amazing and others I basically only eat junk food. I don't know why I am struggling with this one so much, but I am going to try harder this month, starting right now, and I really hope I can do it. Can I have some encouragement, please?
- Exercise at least 3 times a week: I exercise every single day. What I do isn't much, but I feel like, even if I only do 5 minutes, it's better than nothing. I do calf-raises every morning when I'm brushing my teeth. I used to do it at night as well, but I've changed that to squats, so that my entire legs are getting a good workout. It really works too, my legs feel so much more toned and I love it.
- Work harder at school and work, so I can get into university: I am slowly getting my motivation back for doing school work. It's hard but I'm so glad I'm doing it. I know I'm going to be unbearable to live with over the next few months, as I will be incredibly stressed, but it will be worth it.
- Read 6 books by the summer holidays: I'm struggling with this one. However I hope to finish at least 2 book over the Easter break, which will bring my total up to 3. Then I plan on finishing another book over the next month, meaning it would work out at a book a month, which takes some pressure off of me.
- Appreciate all that I have more often: This month has been hard for me, however as the month ended, I did feel like I was appreciating all that I had more. However, you can't expect me to love everything all of the time ha-ha.
- Do something that scares me at least once a month: I did do this one, however I would rather not go into it, as it is something rather personal, I hope you don't mind :)
- Learn to play the ukulele: I have been practising this month, although I still can't play. I hope to get better over the next month though and I am excited to keep practising.
Well that is all of my resolutions. How are you guys doing? Let me know in the comments below :)
I have another post planned for today, so please check back later.
Talk to you all soon.
Have a beautiful day and DFTBA

I like most of your list and it is very similar to mine. All except the read 6 books. I read a lot and fast. I can read about 15 books a week. But other than the book thing and the ukulele, everything is the same. Although I always have wanted to learn the ukulele.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of books a week! I used to read a lot, but have found that I lack concentration lately. You should totally learn the ukulele, it is such an amazing instrument :)
