Hey girls, I hope you're all well.
Today I am going to talk to you about Good Friday, and what it means to me, because I woke up feeling inspired and loved, and wanted to share that with you all.
I've never hidden the fact that I am a Christian, I became a Christian almost 3 years ago, and it was the best decision I made in my life, so obviously Easter is more than eggs to me. To me it is about celebrating the fact that we have been saved; celebrating the fact that Jesus died for our sins. I always find that so amazing! When I realized that today was Good Friday, I started thinking about how brave Jesus was to go to the cross for us, I mean He knew that so many people wouldn't believe that He ever existed, that many would find any excuse they can to not believe (I was one of those people) He knew that we would constantly sin, and yet He still died for us. He had done nothing wrong, He died because He wanted to save us. I don't know about you but that makes me feel so incredibly loved. I also feel guilty when I think about it too sometimes, but mostly I feel so lucky. He has saved us all! Even those who don't believe.
When I think about how much He went through for all of humanity all I wonder how He did it. I know I wouldn't have been able to, would you? But that's the point, we couldn't do it because we are simply human. Jesus loves us all so much that He was willing to do it for each and every one of us, and I am in awe whenever I think of it.
I was listening to a song yesterday called Beer with Jesus by Thomas Rhett, and there is a line in it which goes: "How'd you turn the other cheek to save a sorry soul like me?"and I don't know about you, but I often wonder that? I'm not worthy of being saved by someone so great, and yet I am. You all are too. We are all unconditionally loved and that is what this weekend is about. This is the weekend 2000 years ago that Jesus died and rose again for us, so go and celebrate being saved!
Happy Easter to all of you!
xx
Hey everyone. This is a place for me to, as it says in the title, be random. This will be where I tell you all my tips for being organised, for studying well and on looking good whilst doing it. You won't always get posts like those, you may just get my thoughts (kind of like a diary) So sit back and enjoy, the randomness of this British girl.

Kim's book corner - Divergent
Hey girls, I hope you're all well.
Sorry I didn't post on Wednesday, I was out shopping with my mum and brother, then I had church so I didn't really get a chance.
Anyway, today I am giving you yet another book review, I feel like most of my posts these days are book reviews, but I just can't stop reading! You don't have to watch if you're bored of reviews, but I do hope you like them.

February empties
Hey girls, I hope you're all well.
Today, I'm going to share with you all the products I used up in February.
Today, I'm going to share with you all the products I used up in February.
Tesco my senses shampoo in heavenly body, Pro-vita conditioner in uplift, Spotlight perfume, Neutrogena blackhead eliminating toner, Yankee votive candle in mandarin cranberry, simple eye make-up remover, and hydrocortisone 1% m/m cream
My thoughts on each product:
Tesco my senses shampoo in heavenly body: This smells so good, and really does give great volume, I'm using a different shampoo now but I do really like this one. I think it smells like summer, it's very citrusie(?) That's what I love about the Tesco my senses hair care, they just smell so good, and linger in your hair, but aren't overpowering.
Pro-vita conditioner in uplift: This is just a conditioner I got from Aldi, and it does what it says on the tin. There is nothing more to say on this, it doesn't have a particular scent, but it does give great volume, and is dirt cheap.
Spotlight perfume: I didn't particularly like this. If you don't know, I'm trying to use up my perfumes before buying any more, and that includes the ones I like but don't love, and this is one of those. It is quite a dry, woody/musky scent, which I think is great for night, or maybe someone a bit older. It's probably just my preference but I didn't fall in love with this scent as I hoped I would, I guess I just prefer sweeter scents.
Neutrogena blackhead eliminating toner: This is my favourite toner! I'm on my 3rd or 4th bottle of this. It really works at eliminating my acne, and minimising my pores, however it doesn't really do much for my blackheads, but I can live with that, especially as I have other ways of getting rid of them. I recommend this to anyone who suffers from acne, it really does work wonders.
Yankee votive candle in mandarin cranberry: This smells divine! I'm starting to stray away from my spicy scents and ease into fresher scents for spring/summer, and this is perfect at doing that. It is still a spicy warm scent, which is great because it is still so cold here, but because it's a citrus scent, I feel it's edging more into the spring scents for me, as I prefer to ease myself into the different types of scents during the change of seasons.
Simple eye make-up remover: This does the job, but I found that it dried out my eyes, but that could just be because my skin doesn't react very well with products that are designed for sensitive skin. If you do have sensitive skin, I do recommend this, because it is really good at removing my eye make-up, my skin just reacts better to 'high in chemicals' products, which is annoying because chemicals aren't good for your skin
hydrocortisone 1% m/m cream: I was prescribed this for dry skin. During the winter my skin gets so dry and flaky, and sometimes painful, so I had to go to the doctors about it, and I was prescribed this and another cream (which you will probably see next month as I am running out) and it worked amazingly!
batiste dry shampoo in cherry: Ohmyword this smells amazing! I love it so much, it's probably my favourite scent that they do. What more can I say? It smells amazing and does the job, and I have very oily hair.
Well that's all for today, I hope you enjoyed this post.

New Years Resolutions update #2
Hey girls, I hope you're all well.
Please ignore the fact that this is a day late, I don't know how that happened. But to make up for it you will get a post on Tuesday! Yay?
Anyway, it is the beginning of a new month which means it is time to do a little update on my new years resolutions, and they were:
Well, that's how I'm doing, let me know how you're getting on in the comments. I love reading your comments, they always make me smile.
Please ignore the fact that this is a day late, I don't know how that happened. But to make up for it you will get a post on Tuesday! Yay?
Anyway, it is the beginning of a new month which means it is time to do a little update on my new years resolutions, and they were:
- Be healthier.
- Be more eco-friendly.
- Take more pictures.
- Get a job, then move out of my parents house.
- Organise my time better.
- This one is pretty much the same as last month, however I have been trying harder to eat healthier. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you'll know that I made sweet potato fries and healthy pizza the other week, and they were amazing! I love sweet potato fries so much, and I'm actually craving them right now. The only problem with them is how long they take to make, 30 minutes is a long time when you are really hungry.
- This one is a fail! I just haven't made any more progress on it, but I promise I am going to try so much harder this month.
- Another fail, I don't think I've taken any pictures this month, but to be fair I was ill for most of it, or stuck doing assignments, which doesn't make for very interesting pictures.
- I've still not got a job, and didn't get a chance to apply for any this month because of being so ill and my assignments, but I plan on making up for it this month, by applying for as many jobs as I can.
- This is a bit of a yeah and no, I have improved a bit, but I'm still struggling to stick to it. Once I've got it perfected I will let you know what I do.
Have a beautiful day
