May empties

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

Can you believe it is July already? I thought it was July on Saturday, but even I can't believe that we are in the seventh month of the year!

Anyway, onto this months empties.

Boots expert dental disposable mint flossers; A sample of Nivea in shower body moisturiser; Clearasil ultra all in 1 wash and mask; A sample of No7 Beautifully Matte foundation; George big it up mascara; Skin system cosmetic cotton wool pads; Pampers sensitive baby wipes.

My thoughts:
Boots expert dental disposable mint flossers: I love these! When I first started using them it hurt my gums, and I bled quite a bit, but that was good, because it meant that I was really cleaning my teeth. As you may know, when your teeth bleed when brushing or flossing, it means that they haven't been cleaned properly (or you've got gum disease) so using this meant I knew my teeth were being cleaned thoroughly and I loved it. They did stop bleeding after a couple of days, if your gums keep bleeding, I recommend going to the dentist to find out what is happening there.

Nivea in shower body moisturiser: I liked this, and I think I might buy the full size of this. It smells kind of powdery and clean but I like that. It works, but because you have to spend more time in the shower and I'm always being told I spend too much time in the shower, I don't think I would use it very often, probably just on days where I'm not washing my hair, and I don't feel like using my body lotion (although that doesn't happen very often). I think this would be great for those of you who forget to moisturise after showering, because it is a great alternative.

Clearasil ultra all in 1 wash and mask: I love love love this face wash. I've been using it for about 2 years, and it definitely works for my skin! I've had less breakouts, my skin feels and looks so much better than it used to. I did find my skin to get dry during the winter, especially in the last year, but all I had to do was apply a hydrating moisturiser. I never used it as a mask, but I did leave it on for a couple of minutes whenever I do my at home facial, and did feel like it deeply cleansed my skin. Unfortunately I'm not sure this one is available any more, because when I went to buy a new bottle I found it had changed slightly, and I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not. I'll let you know when I decide.

No7 Beautifully matte foundation: I got this sample when I went to get my foundation matched (you know how they have that machine thing now? I went to try it out) just to see if I was getting it right, or if they could match my shade because I am really pale. I always get the lightest shade and I was right, this shade is Calico which is the lightest shade they have. Wow that was long winded, sorry about that. Anyway, I really like this foundation, it is medium/full coverage for normal/oily skin with up to 14 hours skin free, and a soft, even finish with SPF 15. I wouldn't say it stays shine free, but it does last. I had to do a presentation a few weeks ago, and my face always heats up, and melts my make-up off, but this lasted all day during that day, which was brilliant, so I now have the full size of this.

George big it up mascara: I got this a few Christmases ago in a make-up set, and it took me a while to get around to use it. I like it, but I find that most mascaras work well for me which is lucky for me ha-ha. It's cheap so I didn't expect much, and I didn't get much from it, but I'm not a huge mascara person so I don't know how to review this, so I'm gonna stop ha-ha.

Skin system cosmetic cotton wool pads: I mentioned this last month because it was a double pack. There's nothing really to say here, it's cotton pads, nothing more to say ha-ha.

Pampers sensitive baby wipes: I think I've mentioned this before but I use baby wipes to remove my make-up (I know this is bad, I'm looking for make-up remover I promise) and I like these, they smell good, they remove my make-up well. One negative is my skin feels really dry afterwards, but then I wash my face and it's all good.

Well that's all my empties for this month. I can't believe there isn't a candle, but I've hardly burnt any this past month, so I haven't finished one. But I plan on finishing up one tonight.

Have a beautiful day

Dream beautiful dreams; live beautiful lives

xx
