my pamper night

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I tried posting this last night, but for some reason my internet wasn't working. But anyway today I want to share with you all my idea of the perfect pamper night.

Firsts things first, I always light a candle, scented candles are just so relaxing, so I do this most nights, but think it's perfect to do on pamper nights especially.

I then pour a bath, and whilst it is,filling up, I remove any nail polish. I do this before my bath because I can then just soak my hands in the bath and push my cuticles back when I get out.

Once I've done that I soak in the bath with whatever book I'm reading. I also shave my legs in the bath and have a good exfoliation.

Don't forget to apply your lotion, you don't want your skin to dry out. The one I'm currently using is Vanilla Milk from the Sugar Pop set I got for Christmas.

I then give myself a pedicure. I use a pumice stone before soaking, then rest my feet in warm water for 15_20 minutes. Whilst doing that I like to apply my base coat on my fingernails, giving it plenty of time to dry. after drying my feet thoroughly I apply a thick later of foot cream and my fuzzy socks.

I then give myself a facial, which I have an entire post on here.

Whilst my face mask is on I paint my nails the colour I'm wearing is London, which was limited edition.

After all of that I snuggle up in bed and either watch a movie or read my book.

And that's it, that is my pamper night routine. What do you do on your pamper nights? Let me know.

Have a beautiful day

British Rambles: Catch-up and Currently

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

Oops, I missed 2 days, but only because I was so tired over the weekend, and just wanted to sleep. On Saturday it was a beautiful day, but I didn't really do much, except go for a wander around Homebase because my Mum is wanting to decorate the house, and I love looking at that stuff, and I was sick. I wanted to go to a farm, but we didn't really get to go, but that's ok, maybe I'll go next weekend.
The weather wasn't as good on Sunday so I stayed in bed catching up on Neighbours, and eating popcorn and sweets, I regretted it this morning though because I woke up wanting to throw up, which is not nice haha.
And today I went into town with my Mum and brother, I didn't get much, but I did manage to find Harry Potter Book of Spells for £10 in CEX then the motion/move starter pack for £25, so that was a bargain! I'm so excited to play it, but I'd already decided to have a Revenge catch-up tonight, which is what I'm doing right now. I am so so happy I managed to get it so cheap, because it was over £100 when it first came out, which is just ridiculous!

I just thought I would let you know I am doing currently:

Listening to: Revenge

Eating: Nothing right now but I just finished a scrambled egg sandwich and an apple

Drinking: Water

Wearing: A plaid shirt and light wash jeans

Feeling: Still a little bit sick after all the sugar yesterday

Weather: Breazy. It's 6 degrees which, considering the weather we've been having recently, is nice

Wanting: To be caught up on Revenge, I can't believe I am so far behind (4 weeks! D:)

Needing: To make a start on an assignment I have due in at the end of the month, but I work better under pressure

Thinking: How bad it is that I leave things until the last minute

Enjoying: Writing this post

Well that's it for today, I hope you enjoyed this post.

TAG: The 10 day 'You' challenge.

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I didn't really know what to write today, and then I remembered that I started the 10 day 'you' challenge, but for some reason only did the first one. So that is what I am going to do right now.

Here are my nine loves:

  1. Jesus. I'm not going to go into this, you all know about this. If you do want any information just ask and I'll happily answer any questions :)
  2. Harry Potter. Again every one knows how much I love Harry Potter, I even have a tattoo!
  3. YouTube. I think I am always watching YouTube videos, which is probably a huge problem, but oh well. If you have a YouTube channel leave it in the comments, I'll subscribe :)
  4. Reading. I think you all probably know that I love reading, I mean I do book reviews quite regularly haha.
  5. Quotes. Another thing you all know I love, I love reading inspirational quotes, it just brightens up my day
  6. Lazy days. I enjoy days where I just stay in my pyjamas, no make-up on, and just watching TV or movies or just reading. I think it's good to do that once in a while, but I probably do it more often than I should.
  7. The sky. I know that this is a really weird love, and I could do an entire post on this, but I'm not so I'm just going to say that I love just looking at the sky, I think it always looks so beautiful, even on stormy days or at night
  8. My bed. Lets face it who doesn't love their bed?
  9. And a cheesy one to finish - my family. I have the most supportive parents ever, and I love them to pieces (even if they do annoy me sometimes :-P)
Sorry these aren't in depth loves, I didn't want to make it too serious, but these are my loves, as I thought of them (minus the family one, I deliberately left it until last).

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Haul time!

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I am so ready for bed right now, I went shopping with my mum and brother today and picked up a few things, I then tried to do day 3 of Blogilaties April calender and died ha-ha. I went shopping with a purpose so didn't buy much but I thought I wanted to share with you all what I got.

The first place I went to was Primark and bought 2 pairs of jeans and a sports bra. I already had the black and pink sports bra from Primark and they've just come out with a purple range, and just had to buy another bra. I find it so difficult to find a sports bra in my size, so I was so happy that they brought these out.

I'd placed an Avon order a few weeks ago and went to go and pick it up. I got a BB cream which I am so excited to try it out (apparently it improves the look of your skin even when you're not wearing it which is exciting), a primer, nail experts pearl shine, which I am actually wearing right now which is so pretty, and a pillow mist.

I also stopped off in Superdrug and bought a Radox Nourish shower gel, and a tube of mud therapy aloe vera mud mask, because, if you read my last post you'll know that my skin has been breaking out really badly, and I'm trying really hard to fix it.

I also went to Waterstones, but filmed that haul which is still uploading, so whilst that uploads I'm going to do some yoga because my muscles ache and need to stretch.

Kim's book corner - Secrets she left behind

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I filmed this review a while ago, but for some reason I never shared it with you all, but it's here for you all now.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

March empties

Hey girls, I hope you're all well. I know this was supposed to be posted 2 days ago, and I'm not doing very well blogging every day this month, but to make up for it there will be 3 posts today, starting with an empties post.

So lets get on with it.

Tesco my senses colour sanctuary shampoo, conditioner, Listerine stay white mouthwash, Garnier nutrisse ultra colour in iced coffee, clearasil overnight lotion, Tesco chewable vitamin C, Tesco multivitamins+iron, Health essentials calcium and vitamin D, Yankee candle voltive in natures paintbrush, Tee tree facial cleansing wipes, Active oral care interdental flossers, Sugar pop vanilla milk bath and shower gel, Lacura cotten pads, Mudd original mask.

My thoughts on the products:

Tesco my sense colour sanctuary shampoo and conditioner: I adore this! It smells amazing, helps my colour stay longer, and keeps my hair so soft. I completely recommend these.
Listerine stay white mouthwash: This is really good, it keeps your breath fresh, and I found that it did whiten my teeth. I have naturally yellow teeth so they are never going to be white (which is so annoying) but they definitely lightened up.
Garnier nutrisse ultra colour: I've been using this hair dye for roughly 2 years, and I love it. Every one knows that colouring your hair dries it out, but this one actually hydrates my hair, it just feels so good after using it, and the colour lasts a really long time; I only colour my hair every 3 or more months.
Clearasil overnight lotion: I love this, and the tube lasted so long! I thought that I was running out back in October so bought a new night lotion, but it wouldn't finish. This helped my skin so much and since I ran out my skin has been breaking out really bad. I really wish it hadn't been discontinued.
Vitamins: I'm just going to out my vitamins together because I don't really have much to say about them, they are only here because I finished them.
Tea tree facial cleansing wipes: I use these after taking my make up off to make sure I have all of my make-up off. It is so strong so be careful if you have sensitive skin, because it can burn slightly. It's a good face wipe especially if you suffer acne.
Active oral care interdental flossers: You may be able to tell I've been into oral health this past month, and started to floss regularly, and this was what I used. Since running out of these I've been using the string floss (that's probably not what it's called) and found that the stick floss is so much easier to use, so I'm going to have to buy some more when I next go to Liverpool.
Sugar pop vanilla milk bath and shower gel: This smells so good! There is just one problem, it is a bitch to get out because the bottle is shaped like a cupcake, and it's really thick. But other than that I love it.
Lacura cotton pads: I've already done a thoughts on this product, back in my January empties.
Mudd original mask: Like I mentioned before my skin has been freaking out, so I bought this clay  mask to try and help. I felt it cleaning deep in my skin, and think that regular use would help my skin a lot, but they don't sell this mask in a multiple use pack, so I've found a different clay mask.

Wow that was a lot of empties. There probably won't be that many next month. What have you used up lately? Let me know in the comments below.

How am I doing on my New Years Resolutions? | March update

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I know I didn't blog much last month, but I am going to try and make up for it this month by (trying) to blog everyday. Some days will be the type of posts that I normally post on here, i.e. pinterest posts, favourites etc, and other days it will be like a follow me around vlog in the sense that I'll write about my day with pictures, but that will be when I do something fun. Today though I am going to give you all a lovely update on my New Years Resolutions, simply because I do that at the beginning of every month :)

  1. Be healthier.
  2. Be more eco-friendly.
  3. Take more pictures.
  4. Get a job, then move out of my parents house.
  5. Organise my time better.
How am I doing?

  1. I love being healthy, I honestly think I've eaten healthier this month than I have any other month. That doesn't mean I haven't had slip ups where I eat only processed/ junk food all day because that has happened, but overall I am rather pleased with how well I've eaten. I've also excercised pretty much every day. I did try running but the cold kind of put me off, but I'm going to take it back up again this month.
  2. I've been trying harder this month. I make sure I switch everything off when it's not in use, and I also use less lighting, and this will probably get even better because I love candle light (it doesn't have to be scented candles either) and I've been looking at candleabras so I can use those instead of lamps (I know this makes me sound slightly weird)
  3. I feel like this shouldn't even be on this list any more because I have majorly failed on this one. I always feel awkward taking pictures, I don't know why but I do. So this one is just not working out for me, but we'll see how I get on this month.
  4. I still haven't got a job yet, but I plan on applying for even more this month, I just find it difficult finding a part-time job that fits with my schedule, I often think it's easier to find a full-time job.
  5. I think I've cracked this one, I have a routine that I stick to pretty closely, although not today. If you want to know my routine to make sure I get my work done and not procrastinate (as much) then let me know, and I'll do a post on it.
Well that's it for this month. How are you all getting on? Please feel free to let me know in the comments below, and don't forget to check back tomorrow for empties post (I have quite a few).

Have a beautiful day
